*Transference\**

In this research atelier, we are working on the relationship between dance and drawing through improvisation. Drawing is very similar to dancing. It is about movement and shape, color and dynamic, intention and expression. It is like dancing on a piece of paper. Transference\* is a project that develops in different group ateliers with different people, working around the question, how to create together? What if an artistic practice is not something exclusive, not each to their own, but something (in) common. 
I propose creativity as a social process. What does it mean to share an experience? How can we create one? And where can this take us? 
I will share my personal tools for creation, methods and tricks on how to generate material through a multidisciplinary practice and how to appropriate different media through things you already know. I offer the participants a space to meet people, to be creative (or also not), to tryout stuff, and to explore themselves in an environment built on trust, curiosity, and confidence – confidence through and in each other. 

The research will be the starting point for an installation/a happening/a performance that will be developed through these weekly atelier moments and the result will be shown at least once next June (participation in this show moment is optional).

The video's are on display in ongoing loop at gallery window during each night in August. For those that would like to experience the artworks with their original soundtracks on Wednesday 17th, Thursday 18th and Friday 19th of August starting at 22h30 there is a small informal gathering in the gallery.

 The video's are presented in a loop during evenings and nights in August
 2022.

 The exhibition is visible from outside the gallery.

 For audiovisual screenings, a presentation moment, indoors can also
 happen.

 Besides screening your work, we'd like to conduct an interview with the
 artist and publish on our site.



 For next happenings, we're thinking about interconnecting the
 participants, so new relationalities can make other artworks appear.

Dance and performance art video exhibition

Rezgauche and Humans & Soil invites you to join weaving/sewing circles involving a movement workshop June 20-23rd.

The project "Mojhtesh Gurredh" is created by the organisation Humans & Soil which focuses on Indigenous (Sámi) artistic practices.
"Mojhtesh gurredh" in South Sámi language mean something like "weaving stories" where dancers Marit Shirin Carolasdotter (SE/IZ) and Linnéa Sundling (SE) is sharing their practices on weaving traditional Sámi shoebands together with movement.

## Dates and time: 20/6 - 23/6

13:00-15:00 & 17:00- 19:00

We meet and weave or sew together. You’re welcome to bring whatever you like, maybe something ordinary or connected to everyday life, a memory from someone you want to recreate… Maybe clothes that you want to mend. We learn basic principles of weaving shoebands from our Indigenous culture. We work with our hands, talk and drink coffee with Swedish “fika”. Together we explore the prescence of our bodies in the room we create. We might write something down about our experiences. You should bring: Something to weave, sow or mend or any other textile material. Pen and paper.

Free entrance, come and go as you wish!

Get-together and Film screening of "danceforgallók "As a part of Mojhtesh Gurredh, movement is happening in rural places of the north, were excavation, mining and deforestation in favour of green energy/renewal energy is severely affecting all lifeforms in the north today.
This filmscreening is from our movement workshop in the mining area of Gallók, in collaboration with DACE - Dance Art Critical Ecology, Juan Ramirez "Kathira", Amanda Piña (Nada Productions) and Bergsspråk seminar in Boden and Jokkmokk, Sápmi.

## About the artists

Linnéa Sundling comes from Umeå and works as a dancer. She has been working with a Humans & Soil since 2020 and lives in Stockholm. Prior to this project she has created performances for youth with a gender- and normcreative focus.Marit Shirin Carolasdotter is based in Umeå and Brussels. She is mainly working as a dancer and choreographer and is the founder of Humans & Soil. Her main focus is on Indigenous bodily rights through dance and research. She has a bachelor degree from DOCH and a Master's degree from Stockholm University of the Arts\`

Hair Box Play is a project using puppetry as a vehicle to explore states of suspended animation. The puppet, interchangeably object and subject, occupies a generative gray zone for thinking about stillness and movement. Both mundane and preternatural, enchanting and repulsive, it is animated and brought to life by outside forces while also appearing to live of its own accord — until it is inevitably deactivated. But what are the thresholds of being and feeling animated? How much is too much animation? And how much is too little? “Hair Box Play” tells stories of characters crossing the point where animation meets exhaustion, where excitement engenders retreat."Hair Box Play" is conceived and performed by Sean Wehle, a former art historian and current fiction writer.
